Avis's Story
Class of 77! As school ended found a job it wasn't the job I wanted but I worked it. Then my life took a turn for the worst got caught up on drugs it lasted until I was 41 years old. Have 4 children/4 grandchildren. Today I've been clean for 15 years (Praise God). I know my story will help someone else because God is the power of the example. I've just graduated from college in May of 2014 with the degree in Human Services and my Substance Abuse Certificate. (Only God) I'm not 56 years of age and this is the best life I ever lived. s the House Manager.................................for 14 years and still moving forward. My son passed away in 2009 it was hard at first but the more I depend on God he brought me through. I'm not religious but I'm spiritual. To help someone else to get through life struggles is so amazing to let others know that they are not alone. So many people today want to hide what is REALLY happening in their life and suffer. ME I'm the spokesperson for any one who can't say. I just said it for you .
